27 Mar Is Molly A Deadly Drug?
Substance abuse is no laughing matter and abusing drugs can cause significant health issues and problems in your life. All drugs, legal or not, when taken incorrectly can lead to substance abuse or can make the user down a slippery slope towards addiction which is very hard to overcome. In today’s society, drug use is glorified in certain music and seen as a way to increase your fun at parties. Many people, including teens, have been inclined to take part in these “party drugs” in order to have a great time. But make no mistake, these drugs are not so fun in the long run.
“Party Drugs” are actually some of the most dangerous drugs you can come across and can cause great bodily harm to the individual taking them. Any drug taken in quantities that your body can’t handle could lead to overdose or death. This includes Coke, Meth, Valium, LSD, and Molly. Molly is by far the most popular “party drug” in the world with it reported to being used by more than almost 30 million people around the world. But whats Molly drug?
MDMA, or commonly known as Molly, is a party drug that when took gives users a euphoric feeling, and it also heightens their senses. It’s a drug that is commonly used at festivals, nightclubs, and parties. Molly is a highly preferred drug choice because it makes people feel happy and has similar effects to the drug Ecstasy. But Molly comes with consequences, as do all drugs and can make users feel very impaired and disoriented. It can also increase users body temperature to potentially fatal levels.
Another danger of this drug is that when people take Molly, they rarely are only taking Molly. It’s a common misconception that Molly pills and crystals contain pure 100% MDMA, which couldn’t be further from the truth. The DEA reports that Molly rarely contains pure MDMA and is often mixed with other deadly synthetic and addictive drugs such as bath salts, heroin, PCP and Methamphetamines. Many have thought they were taking pure Molly and have ended up either in the emergency room or dead.
People should know that party drugs are far from safe and substance abuse of any kind can ruin your life if you don’t take back control quickly. If you or someone you love is struggling with the abuse of drugs, you should talk to a professional or seek help as soon as possible. You should know all of the facts and be very cautious when dealing with drugs whether legal or illegal.
